What are the DELE Levels?

The DELE test has six diverse levels from which you can select at will. From A1 (Beginner), A2 (Elementary) to B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Upper-intermediate), C1 (Advanced), and C2 (Mastery). Each of these Spanish diplomas is severely independent of one another. It means that applicants are free to register and sit for the program of their choice. You can select earlier which exam you would like to take.

The Diplomas you will achieve from DELE are effective for a lifetime. The minimum age is 16 for these DELE tests. There are also DELE tests for young students or schoolchildren (aimed at learners from 11 to 17 years old). There are only two levels including A1 and A2/B1.

Exam Structure & Passing Marks

Like all other European Language exams, you will have to go through four different ability exams at each level, containing reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Depending on the fitness scale, Spanish DELE exams last between two to five hours (including breaks).

Every level of the exam has a diverse exam structure that you should know before you sit for the examination. To pass, you require a total of 60% or more score in writing and reading sections and a total of 60% or more in the listening and verbal sections.
